In 2001, Harold Faircloth III and Timothy Danahy, successful micro-brewers with more than twenty years experience and ten’s of thousands of barrels created between them, founded Green Mountain Distillers. Armed with well honed brewing and distilling techniques, the duo set out to create ultrapremium spirits in their state of the art distillery in Stowe, Vermont. The emphasis on superior ingredients is underscored with a time honored, and time consuming, made by hand process.
