We are a small family farm with a focus on rare heritage breed animals that thrive on our rough northern hillsides in Norwich, Vermont. Our animals are raised outside in the fresh Vermont air year-round. They graze on organic pastures and the pigs and poultry are fed grain free from hormones or antibiotics from Green Mountain Feed. We specialize in rare breeds for several reasons. The meat from heritage breeds is far more flavorful then the factory farm meat found in supermarkets today. These breeds fit our cold, rough terrain and can be outside all year. Also, preserving these rare breeds protects genetic diversity.
