We practice sophisticated crop rotation and maintain organic matter by adding compost that we make here on the farm, and "green manure" cover crops. We balance soil nutrients using soil testing and organically approved fertilizers. We manage pests using approved organic strategies including beneficial insects, barriers, hand and flame weeding, and soil health management. We don't just make these claims, we back them up with traceability, inspection and verification. Our vegetables and berries are certified organic by the Northeast Organic Farmers Association of Vermont. And if you are ever disappointed with the quality of our produce, we will replace it.
