Jasper Murdock’s Alehouse is our Vermont microbrewery named for the Inn’s first owner from 1797. The Pub is a popular watering hole for locals and visitors alike, featuring moderately priced fare in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Enjoy our own Jasper Murdock English-Style Ales made on site by our brewmaster, Jeremy Hebert. We always feature at least 4 of our brews on tap. Chef Cal is a graduate of New England Culinary Institute with an associates degree in Culinary Arts. He also has an associates degree in Food Service Management from the University of New Hampshire. Hingston and his team excel at innovative cuisine using fresh, seasonal and local ingredients. Proud of its membership in the Vermont Fresh Network the Inn is committed to using products from Vermont’s working landscape.

The pub attached to the Norwich Inn is especially great when the weather is warm and you can sit outside. While the view isn't spectacular (basically kiddie-corner to a parking lot), the food and beer makes it worth checking out. Definitely a more relaxed environment than it's larger counterpart, but that's a good thing in my book. Great place for a first date (I speak from experience!).
