INFORMATION WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT
Registering with FarmPlate allows users to take full advantage of the resources made available by the Site. We store the personal information you submit upon registration (including your name, email address, password and zip code) and use it to identify your account on the Site by name and to target our resources and services to your geographic location. With your permission, we use your email to send you service announcements and share resources. You may update your account information and opt-out of receiving marketing communications from us at any time by changing your preferences here. As outlined in our Terms of Service, by creating an account you agree to receive certain Site service communications.
For businesses, any information you may choose to provide in order to share details about your business or products via the Site (including, as an example, your menu, business relationships or address) creates a more direct connection between you and other users. A user or business that is a Member, as outlined in our Terms of Service, may also be contacted by Site users via email at the address provided by the Member. Those email communications will be sent by the Site and the Member’s email address will not be displayed to the user.
You control what personal information is shared with the public and other registered FarmPlate users by choosing what to post and, if you are a business, what appears on your business profile. FarmPlate will not share any information from individual user accounts.
We may use the information you provide on our Site for routine administrative purposes such as investigating abuses of the Site, responding to user inquiries, and enforcing and applying our Terms of Service.
